Wow.
Seriously, I am just utterly speechless right now because this is pretty incredible.
Yesterday, Nokia announced the N8 which certainly will become their next flagship phone. It features a 12 mega pixel camera along with their new Symbian^3 operating system. While those are both exciting, it also allows you to capture video in 720p which, as you will see, produces some pretty amazing stuff.
And that’s not even the part that wow’s me the most.
The fact that this video came from a phone is absolutely breathtaking and exciting. This also goes back to the point I made yesterday that Nokia really can cook up amazing hardware; they just need to do something about the software aspects of their phones.
Nokia Conversations, which is Nokia’s official blog, says this about the video:

Watch, and imagine what kind of stuff you could film in San Francisco. Considering how many friends of mine love photography and film, the possibilities are endless when you can pull a camera like this out of your pocket and shoot.
The Nokia N8 won’t be out locally until Q3 of this year but I have a feeling more than a few of you in SF, at least after watching this video, might give it a whirl. You can find other Nokia phones locally if you head here.
