When you download and install any application from Nokia OVI store you cannot copy the installer. Upon completion of installation, your phone automatically deletes the installer of downloaded apps which is temporarily located at E:Installed files folder. The installer has additional file extension of .dm which is the marked extension for deletion.
This trick helps you preserve and copy the installer for later use or for the purpose of sharing to others. Here is the step by step process.
1. Open your OVI client application then connect to the internet either through Wi-Fi or 3G connection
2. Choose any application you wish to install
3. Download the application
4. Watch the progress of the download. When the download is near to reach 100% or better when you see it's 95% in progress go to "E:Installed files" better known as your memory card drive at "Installed files" folder. You can see there the installer of the downloaded file
5. Press "Option" then select "Organize"
6. Select "copy to folder" to copy the file to your desired directory. In my case I copied the installer to "C:Games" or better known as Phone Memory at "Games" directory.
7. The installer has still file extention of .dm just remove the .dm
Now you have the installer with you. Upon copying the file, do it quick while your phone is still installing the file or else the installer will be deleted immediately after installation.
Below are screen shots to guide you.
